It’s Gomer2’s turn to report on his race, and he’s a little confused about how he feels about this, his third Half Marathon and PR.  Hear as Gomer1 grills him for the details – the ups, downs, and in-betweens.  Did he meet his goal?  Is he feeling good?  Did any mantras work?  Was there enough toilet paper?  Never fear, Nation, all your questions will be answered!

    Hey Guys,
    It’s been awhile since I commented because I have been visiting family and have been away from computing in general. I’m catching up with episodes now (thanks for all the new episodes!), and I have so much to say. But because I often listen to you dudes (dogs?) while walking to the gym or on subway commutes, I can’t always remember all the thousand things that resonated with me when it comes time to comment.

    Here’s one thing, though. I’m excited about Anthony’s New Years resolution about losing weight. I want to lend my support, and better myself, by pledging to lose 14 lbs. I am a bit under 5′ 10″ and currently weigh 179.2. I pledge to weigh 165 lbs. by the time I visit family again on the weekend of May 20th (which is the end of the school semester I am just now about to start [I teach, so I measure my time in semesters, too]).

    Thanks for your constant inspiration, guys.

    I just discovered you guys a few weeks ago. I ran the Disney half and was in corral C, it was very cool to listen to Anthony’s recap (especially about the Toy Story soldier on the hill) because I could visualize each thing. Anyway, i actually listen to your podcasts on my training runs. Keep up the good work.
