  1. I think you guys should consider a “no TV for a week” challenge. I don’t want to see anybody get hurt though. However, it would tie in nicely with the weight loss theme.

  2. My songs to run to are taken right from my Turkey Trot playlist. My race was yesterday, and alas I did not PR. But I came in 1st in my age group. Thankfully my time is not on the little statue thing-y. Songs: Good Feeling (Flo Rida), Written in the Stars (Tinie Tempeh), Given to Fly (Pearl Jam), Till I Collapse (Eminem), Remember the Name (Fort Minor). Two more favs for easy runs: Hallelujah (Canadien Tenors) and Lay ‘Em Down (NEEDTOBREATHE).

  4. Okay Gomers — First of all, let me warn you and apologize for leaving such a long comment. But, OMG, I just discovered you and you guys crack. me. up. I was looking for something to listen to on a drive up to Michigan last month and discovered your podcast. You had me laughing the entire time. I only wish I knew about you guys when I was training for my first two marathons — around the same time as you guys were.

    Now I am hooked and have even been listening to podcasts that were done leading up to your first races. I listen to you on my commute to work and when I am running by myself — I can only imagine how I look laughing out loud while running. How cool is that?

    A few comments — and sorry if these aren’t timely because listening to your podcasts from the last few years, I can’t really keep track of everything…First of all — songs to run to — To really pick you up your pace on a long run, try the William Tell Overture. I also like Birdhouse in your Soul by Flood and Womanizer by Britney Spears — I know, all over the place on these. I recently heard you ask listeners for some of their songs to run to…but it may have been a podcast from a while ago so….if so…so sorry to be late! But I’d also like to add that SOME of your songs to run to seem like they could also be songs to sleep to…no offense meant, but they seem a bit slow to run to — :) Nice music, though!

    Also, thanks for two nutrition tips you all made — I think recently — Jessica’s — if you don’t buy it you won’t eat it. I have been saying that to myself repeatedly as I grocery shop, and it helps (sometimes…willpower — UGH!) And also Just don’t do that, which I’ve modified to Just don’t eat that. Trying to shed a few lbs before the holidays hit and it’s actually helped a few times to say that.

    Okay, I’ll close up now but again…Thanks for your awesome podcast. You are so funny — I especially love it when Steven chuckles to himself when Anthony is telling a story — so cool.
